28th September

Wow - it's the end of term 3! Hope everyone's got a good holiday planned...

The Kids Are Alright is about youth who are active in the community adn make the community stronger, and to be strong a community need communication and trust - so on the show on Monday I'll be talking to Sophie Hollobon about friends who act differently around other people than they do around you/change the way they are just to fit into a certain group.

I'll also be playing interviews I've been doing this past week for a random poll: what are young poeple's favourite ice cream, and favourite lolly - YUM! Tune into the show (Monday 4:00pm) to see who I talked to....

Leave a comment on here on the blog and tell me what your favourite ice cream and lolly is and we'll see if the rest of the Waikato youth agree with you!

I'll also have some cool music on the show including Bic Runga, David Dallas and Goodnight Nurse.

Talk to you soon!

14th September

Hey guys!

Sorry it's taken me a little while to get onto the blog this week, it's been a crazy week :)

Okay, I have got sooooo much to pack into Monday's show, I'm honestly not sure that I'll get it all in there but I'll give it a go!

Due to some technical difficulties, last week's show didn't make it to air, but I can assure you it won't happen again. That means that you missed out on James Clayton's interview so on Monday I'll be playing that for you! Plus, I have another HUGE interview on Monday, I'll be interviewing...... Charlie Panapa!!!!!!

On the 4th of September Charlie was an adjudicator for night 1 of the Riverlea Stagecraft Festival of Drama, and I caught up with him after the show!

It's going to be pretty big, Charlie is a host on tv2's 'What Now' and he is also an accomplished stage performer.

So that is one show you will NOT want to miss!

If I can I will also squeeze in Daisy days (the event guide)

And I'll be playing (of course) ome wicked Kiwi songs.

Speaking of songs, VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE SONG up in the corner poll! You've only got 3 days left so better hurry!

That's all for now but join me Monday 4:00 for an unbeatable show!

Talk to you soon

7th September

Hey guys!

Sorry - I've missed a week on the blog, hopefully you guys tuned in anyway!
This Monday I'll be playing you an interview with James Clayton (one of my regulars),
he couldn't be in the studio with me because he's mega-busy with his last 7 weeks of school (eek!) and the New Zealand concert band NATIONALS!!!

So naturally I'll be talking to him about that, plus the secondary schools tournament week, and what it's like to be preparing for leaving school.

I'll also give you Daisy days (the event guide), an update on the top 6 bands that have been chosen for the smokefree rockquest national finals - and of course, some tight Kiwi music.

Talk to you soon!
